     Culture

A group of people who are strategically intelligent will preserve their Culture by

consistently developing, cultivating, reiterating and reinforcing positive and ethical behavioral norms which are passed on to the next generation.

The BEHI Culture, Language and Identity Initiative (CLI) is a Partnership between NileBridge International and Behi Beckmance, a CLI advocate from Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire).

The BEHI CLI objective is to address the current adaptive challenge of how all people from Côte d'Ivoire preserve their Culture, Language and Identity among themselves as a people first, in their own country of origin and second, in the diaspora where many of them live around the world. There will be a focus on the next generation, for example, the 1st generation diaspora child, youth or young adult.

The BEHI CLI mission is to create CUTTING EDGE indigenous language tools from Côte d'Ivoire which will be available online and to be accessed through subscription. People living in Côte d'Ivoire and those living in the diaspora will be able to access, download and immerse themselves in their beautiful culture and language. The goal is to cultivate and build identity of all the Côte d'Ivoire people and other participants around the world who are interested in Côte d'Ivoire's rich culture, Language and Identity.

Identity

A mélange of culture and language done well-will produce a people who are courageous and whose identity is unshakable. Identity boosts confidence. This will result in a people who know their worth, origins, and purpose--first in their community and second, in the market place where they operate.

     Language

Words may evolve in meaning and tone. An individual may lose their language due to the infusion of other cultural influences. The Vision of the BEHI Center for Culture Language  and Identity is to be the number one go to platform for the preservation of indigenous languages in Côte d'Ivoire and among its people living in the diaspora.

TESTIMONIALS

The BEHI Culture Language and Identity is the best I have ever come across. I recommend this program to every parent, child or youth in Ivory coast and to those living in the Diaspora.

Solomon Nkugwa / NileBridge International / Founder-President

This CLI Program is unique. In only one month, I could communicate with my Grand mother who lives with my parents in Yamoussoukro
